The ship has a length of 26 meters, equipped with propellers and bow thrusters, which can work normally under the very rough sea conditions with a transfer height of 4.5m maximum, meets various professional functional configurations required for wind farm service and greatly improves the efficiency of service. Both to the design and construction, a large amount of new technology was applied. MO5 has enlarged the diversity of AFAI products. AFAI will explore more cooperation with the ship owner in the industry of wind farm service vessels, introducing the rich and advanced experiences of operation and maintenance from the UK and Europe to China, in order to provide better service for Chinese ship owners and users, as well as to promote the Chinese wind farm service industry to be more professional and safer.

Most of the installation, testing and oil flushing was completed in MO5 at the dock, so commissioning can be carried on after launching. Sea trial is expected to mid of June after all commissioning.
