On August 23th of 2016, accompanied by other members of the association, chief secretary of Guang Dong Shipbuilding Information platform, Chen Jianrong, visited AFAI.
    AFAI vice general manager Tan Ruhao received the delegation first with a warm welcome. Later he reported on AFAI’s basic development situations, the market status of aluminum vessels, the competitions from the same industries, and AFAI’s opportunities, challenges and coping strategies, especially the passenger vessel catering the mounting necessity in Rio de Janeiro during Olympics.
    Secretary Tan Ruhao fully affirmed the successful enterprising efforts of AFAI after the work report. He was surprised by the innovation and development in AFA and felt excited about the success achieved by Afai in the challenging market. He added that AFAI should emphasize the brand effect and marketing sense, and further exploit the market, esp. the international market, to continuously seize the commanding height in the world aluminum vessel market with the achieved world class brand, which the Platform will support with all pains to revive the currently waning shipbuilding industry.

    The secretary inspected the aluminum high-speed vessel construction sites and the Technology Center in AFAI, and focused on understanding the design and construction process for the Brazil US2000 project. The delegation highly appraised the aluminum construction process and quality in AFAI.
