In the afternoon on 22th of April of 2016, the ceremony of Hai Qin” first official sailing & Delivery of “Hai Jin was held in Jiuzhou Port in Zhuhai city, where the general manager of Zhuhai High-Speed Passenger Ferry CO.LTD, Liang Kaibin and the general manager of Afai Southern Shipyard, Sun Dongsheng signed the agreement of definitive delivery of “Haijin”. Then all the directors in presence cut the ribbon together.

The “Haiqin”, ”Haijin” High-speed passenger ferry are built by Afai Southern shipyard to complete the fleet running from Zhuhai to Hongkong. Both of the ferries are equipped with German MTU high speed motor and water jet propulsion system from Rolls Royce, with service speed as high as 38.5 knots, ranking as the fastest catamaran passenger boat in China.

With capacity of 288 passengers, those two ships greatly shorten the travelling time from Zhuhai to Hong Kong to 65 minutes, the one to Shenzhen to 45 minutes, materially improve the travelling experience of passengers.

Afai Southern shipyard signed one more new High-speed contract on the basis of amicable mutual collaboration after the delivery ceremony.
