In 2010, our company contracted to build two aluminum alloy catamaran ferries, each with the overall length of 34.9m, mld. breadth of 9m, carrying capacity of 198 passengers, mainly used for transportation of passengers from Zhuhai to Shekou and islands around.
These vessels adopt the advanced design from Australia, have small bulbous bow, and a wave splitter under the cross deck at bow. The vessels are propelled by twin propulsion engines and propellers, having good performance of sea keeping, high speed and manoeuvrability, are the optimal ferry type for the coastal fast passenger transportation .
