Recently, Afai Southern Shipyard (Panyu Guangzhou) Ltd has been contracted for design and construction of one aluminum fast ferry by Samsoe Municipality of Denmark.

Based o a mature design, AFAI will cooperate with Incat Crowther, the designer. The ferry has LOA of 36m, molded beam of 10m and passenger capacity of 296 persons. The complete ferry will provide service for local public transport on the route between Samsoe and Aarhus.

AFAI successfully won this contract in an open international tender, relying on her own technical advantages, outstanding product quality and rich experience in global market. It is well known that Danish shipowners are famous in high standard and strict requirements. The successful contract and delivery of this ferry will be significant to AFAI and Chinese shipbuilding industry, because it is the FIRST fast passenger ferry contract from Danish shipowner to a Chinese builder, and she will be the FIRST passenger ferry that AFAI sells to Northern Europe. The contract means a recognition of AFAI quality and aluminum ferries MADE-IN-CHINA by the shipowner from mature European market

AFAI will make full use of her own advantages in technique, quality and service to provide better service and products for shipowners, guarantee the quality, performance and delivery time of the ferry, as well as promote “AFAI Brand”  and “AFAI Product” to a wider market.
